On Vormsi Island, it is possible to visit a small animal family where you can experience authentic island life and have close contact with animals in their everyday environment. The visit is guided and takes place at a calm pace, taking into account the animals’ well-being and the visitors’ safety.
During the visit, you will meet the following animals:
- Estonian native sheep – the triplet sheep Lammas Shaun, Saima, and Selma are curious, sociable, and accustomed to people.
- Alpacas – the alpaca boys Mikk, Lennart, and Timmu are attentive and calm animals. They do not enjoy being petted, but they are happy to take treats from your hand.
- Dogs – Alaska Malamute Ubert and Maltese puppy Mila, who can be freely cuddled.
- Highland cattle – before leaving, we give bread crusts and guide visitors on how to gently pet the twin Scottish Highland calves Tirtsu and Tertsu, calmly and in a way that makes them feel comfortable too.
