Seafaring experiences on historical wooden boats

Vormsi Paat OÜ, founded in 2006, is building custom-made historical sailboats and classic fishing smacks and rowboats. We mainly use local dense grained pine to build boats, oak and other precious woods are brought to the island from elsewhere. Our most-used finishing material is tar from pine stumps; resin and varnish are also frequently used.

In summer time, we offer everyone interested a chance to sail on a traditional Vormsi sailboat (Vormsi ruup) and gather memorable seafaring experiences.
